Hi there, couldn't find in the manual. The examples there sometimes are a bit overloaded (for me) - I'm feeling like a fool ;-) : If I insert a fx direkt to a track (for example ReaComp), is it post- or prefade (seem to be prefade)? Can I select? horst

FX on tracks are pre-fader, so the fader controls the volume post-FX. There is an option to insert a pre-FX volume envelope on tracks if you need to. Just click the trim button on the track in the TCP (lower left-hand corner of the track - if you're using the default theme) and the dialog box will pop up. Or use the menus: Track > Envelopes > Toggle volume (pre-FX) active.

Good morning and thank you, took some time till I'got it, I expected the track fader toggling and not an additional one ;-) . The track fader allow to rise up to + 24 dB, the pre fader (in my example) + 6 dB. Is there a reason for that? horst
