OK- I'm running mics through a Sytek MPX-4A and into the line inputs 5-8 on the 002r. Should I have the inputs on the 002 set to +4 or to -10, and what is the purpose for the settings? The Sytek gain knobs are barely turned up when at +4 and I'm getting mondo levels (not necessarily bad). I'm sure I knew this at one point-- Thanks- PC

Thanks for the reply, it's -10 for the Sytek from now on. PC

The +4 input setting is less sensitive than the -10 setting, so... if the signal seems too hot set to +4, it will REALLY seem too hot with the input set to -10.

I wondered about that. The -10 means that the input is set to receive the lesser input etc.... Well, I'll just have to see what happens--- PC
