...."I looked into this option and double clicked hardrive realizing that I only had mb's left on my hardrive . How in the world did this happen ?" ...This happened to me once and maybe you are experiencing the same thing I did. I started up my powerbook one day and got the message telling me I had no room left to save anything. I knew this was wrong because I always keep at least 30 Gig spare on my operating drive - and I was sure it was there the day before. After my initial panic about a virus or Hard Drive meltdown - I tried repairing permissions using Disk Utility and lo and behold my 30 Gig re-appeared and everything was fine. I have no idea why or how this happened and it has never happened again so give repair permissions a try. Good Luck.
