Again ! I don't find solution/proper workaround... What I/maybe others want is a macro using "render" in the file menu but with the "Render time selection" function. Time line selection = render selection No time line selection = render all track/tracks length. Anyone ? Thanks a lot.
Although it would be nice to have the key command for now once you set the render window in file menu to do this (by this I mean set render area to time selection and only selected tracks plus add tracks to project) then that project remembers the settings and you can simply select tracks and time selection to render, press an action to open render window then press enter :) use the consolidate window if you don't want fx on them. :)
Thanks for the answer... So fast... "press an action to open render window" By that you mean the regular Ctrl + Alt + R ? or do have any action for that ? 2- Is it possible to assign a command to a one letter shortcut(in general)? (in that case Ctrl + Alt + R = "J") to create a "one button action". 3- Or a way to access settings or edit :"render to stem rack and mute original".To be able to do it (render time selection only) from a right click on the track ? Sorry y'all.I'm a rookie. So it might seems to be a dumb question... (or it is!)
Even faster than me...I was answering to musicbynumbers while you were writing. So yeah, +10000 to what you wrote yesterday ! And yeah I think a lot of folks would be interested (especially producers). I don't know how FR or voting for an FR works but I'll give it a try tomorrow. In the meantime does anyone have and idea for what I wrote above ?
Thanks. "Still, I agree on having new actions for this! " Yeah WE are agree.I think it's a major function.Asked since a while now.Cockos guys...At your keyboard !!!!!.Do your magic .
