Can anybody advise where the small rubber pipe that clips onto the fuel tank filler pipe goes to? On the estate this is located behind the removable side panel in the boot space. The reason that I ask is that in the summer I rebuilt a low mileage GLT engine and loom on to my Torslanda. I seem to remember that the Torslanda originally has some sort of plastic barrel underneath the nearside wing. The GLT didn't have this. I'm start to think that this was some sort of evaporation tank but I have no idea where I've put it. If a GLT does not have this should the breaher recycle back into the tank? I have noticed that there is a capped of 'spare' pipe on the fuel sender unit. Thanks Scott

Thanks Richard, This is exactly what I needed to know. The problem that I have is that the car was originally a '92 Torslanda. It's engine was tired so I rebuilt an earlier, low mileage GLT engine and loom into the shell. I guess the easiest option would be to try and find the plastic barrel for under the wing again! Many Thanks Scott
