Is it possible to add feature that will allow user to add custom tags to plugins (like a text description with hot words), so it would be possible to search through plugins for "plate reverb", "LA2A", "Moog bass" "acoustic guitar" and so on? For now I'm using folders, but it's a real pain. I already have secion of "BRANDS" with the names of developer companies, "FX" with compressors, reverbs, EQ, "INSTRUMENTS" with guitars, basses, vintage keys. This list is already exceed screen height and to move folder in list you need to select "move up" from the context menu countless times. Are there any plans to rework plugin browser in the nearest versions of Reaper?

Few possible things right now that might help. 1 - you can rename them in the browser 2 - or per-instance 3 - save default presets with any name you want 4 - add comments to plugins within the fx-chain also, have you seen Rearrange FX?

RearrangeFX in nice, but it won't help if I want, for example, to see all 1073 or LA2A emulations, which, obviously, all have different names. What I do now is rename those plugins and add an original name at the end, which is a working solution, but plugin browser looks clogged. I'd prefer something like this to work with: Which are tags for model, character or purpose.
