I can't import any MPEG2-files encoded with TMPGEnc into Scenarist. Is there any settings I've forgot? I encode the files using the DVD-template in TMPGEnc, but has also tried various other settings without any success.
You need to feed Scenarist a video only file .m2v and a audio only file. See what I'm sayin. I believe it's called de-multiplex or somethin. You need to take your current encoded file into TMPGEnc.and then make a (video only) file + (audio only) file. Then Scenarist should take that. And what version of Scenarist are you using? Hope this helps! :)
if you encoded at 23.976 fps in tmpeg, then you will need to use the pulldown.exe program to convert your video. scenartist will only accept 29.976 fps video, so i am guessing that this is your problem. pulldown.exe input.m2v output.m2v
I encoded it with 25 fps (PAL), and Scenarist accepts when I load audio and video in separate files. Anyway, wouldn't Pulldown.exe cause a de-synchronization with audio?
