How do I disable waveform view" (when importing, etc.)

1) When importing files (click & drag), Reaper always tries 2 build waveform view. I do not want this feature, ever. How do I disable it? We can go from there... Waveform view: I don't want it or need it. I don't want a program that cannot disable waveform view, because it eats time & CPU. Please don't spam this with replies such as... "You really do want waveform view" (no, I don't). "Get with the times." (lots of pro gear has no waveform view, such as hardware recorders - DUH!) "Just reinstall Windows" (there's always 1 retard on N E board who will do their 'Reinstall Windows' nonsense =)) "Why don't you want waveform view?" 2) I am re-posting this thread because the other was 'closed', premateurely, I suppose because all it was doing was attracting spam from retards with no clue how 2 read or answer a simple, direct question. U know, responses such as 'plug in your PC, boot windows, start reaper, don't use sound files - just MIDI' OH hahaha - what an intelligent 'user community' (not). N E 1 wanna' show me Y the fuk I should pay 4 a program that can't even disable a USELESS feature like waveform view? Most other's can - especially the commercial stuff =) Actually no - don't answer that. It's besides the point. Just tell me HOW DO I DISABLE WAVEFORM VIEW IN REAPER?? Not while importing, not while editing, never - I do not want waveform view 2 appear, nor do I want the 'offline' messages or other junk (already figured out how 2 disable that). Ideally, just bars 2 display the length of clips. THAT IS ALL N E 1 NEEDS! If U want a program 4 'sound design', that's a different story. I do TRACKING, EDITING, & mixing - not excruciating anal-retentive minutia.
