I have a blueray that looks like it's HDR10+ and according to the metadata maybe nothing else? Trying to convert and reduce it. Don't use HDR10+ with my TVs so although I will inject it back into the video if the source has it, curious on this one. So.... If in MediaInfo I go to Advanced and then view the data I see like: Code:

It's still HDR-10; 0 for MaxCLL and Max FALL mean "undefined" which is a fully supported option. In practice most player ignore MaxCLL and I don't know of any consumer devices that do anything with MaxFALL. They're just not useful in practice. By definition, any HDR10+ file is also backward-compatible HDR-10.

Yeah, it's still HDR10. Any HDR10+ file is backward-compatible with HDR10. You can convert and reduce it as HDR10, then inject the HDR10+ metadata back in.
