1999 V70 retrofitting cruise and trip computer

i have got an 850 indicator stalk with the cruise controls on it. It has the same number of wires on it but a different connector. if anyone has the wiring diagram for it that would be awesome. also the trip computer addition, is it just a case of fitting the switch and it will work? or is it a case of the infamous "software update" rip off?

thanks for the prompt reply.... i also meant to ask.... is it possible to do software updates in a "diy" style or is it only dealers that can do it?

well the indicator arm still needs to be changed even if the software is updated, from what i can see the indicator arm on the 850 is exactly the same but has a different plastic connector. if i could find out the wiring for it then i could do a "diy" fix to pair up the wires correctly. then get the software update and away i go?

I would ask the dealer for the price of the software first, you may decide not to bother.
