vokko and Reaper

Hi. How do I sey up Vokko ind Reaper for live performance? The plug-in itself works fine, but I hear my vocal input too. Here's what I did: Track 1: MIDI input, sends to track 2, record enabled and monitoring on Track 2: Mic input, record enabled and monitoring on I've tried everything I can think of.. What can I do if I just want to hear Vokko vocode my voice, and not Vokko vocoding my voice AND my (natural) voice..?

Hi, Maybe you try to setup a third track, connect the mic to it and send the signal pre FX to track 2. Now it should be possible, to set the volume of the direct mic sound to -inf (or to whatever level you need.) BTW: If you never need the direct mic sound, you can also uncheck "Master/Parent Send". In this case you can set the send to "Post Fader", which lets you set the mic level directly on the tcp or the mixer. HTH -Data

Thanks Mr. Data, but I still hear the direct mic. I've tried the solutions I can think of, (even systematically altering every paramter), but I can't get it to work :-( EDIT: It works now. I routed the vst-in's differently. I'm not sure what I did, but it works :-)

There's a little box that has "master send" in it in the channel IO box. Disable this on the mic channel. This is one way of doing it.

Yeah, but the trick when using vokko is to route the IN's correctly. Here's a sample project with vokko, everything working as it should. Hope this helps.
