No Item context menu when envelope lanes used (solved)

Looked thru this forum, couldn't find this reported anywhere, but can't believe I'm the first to notice this, sorry if duplicating ... With envelopes displayed in lanes I can't get the item context menu - wherever I right click on the item I always get the envelope menu. The only workaround is to collapse envelope lanes, then work on the item, then display lanes again, which surely can't be as intended?

are you using the latest alpha? i had this problem before, but its not happening with the latest.

oops! You're right! I'd uninstalled the alpha and reinstalled 2.53 to work on a project, then reinstalled the wrong one! Thanks Jason! :eek:
