Reaper destroyed mix. can anyone help?!

Hey, I've been working on a mix and a while ago I saved it and closed the session. I thought I was done, but maybe wanted to do some minor changes still. I just also downloaded the SWS extension and hadn't really experimented with it. So I read about mix snapshots and try it. I didn't really find out if it worked but the next time I opened the project, the mix was totally destroyed. There's something wrong with every channel, all of the wet/dry knobs turned to either 0% or like 50ish... compressor inputs changed, wet/dry faders changed, eq's shelved... some fx's were even totally switched off, sends & inserts are gone ...etc... Well I sure don't know if it's got to do with the SWS extension and what I did with it. Anyways can someone help me? This song is very special to me and I put a lot of work in the mix. This hasn't ever happened to me before and it hasn't occurred since. Please help! Thank you

just open your backup project. you do have this on right ?

man... that was too easy... but still I'd like to know what happened to it :D

Another option I'd recommend is under Prefs, General, to enable save Undo file. Then at any later time you can enable another option, to load undo file, and re-open the project. You can then go back to any previous state.
