The title says it all. Which of the resize methods in Avisynth do u recommend, Simpleresize, bilinear or bicubic? And it's an anime i try to convert, so if anyone knows which one is best for those. I have been using Simpleresize myself the first time and i'm wondering if i made the rigt choice!!

Most find that Bicubic gives the best results all-around, but it downs encoding time by about 20% (I think) as opposed to simpleresize. So if you're all about quality and have a decent computer, Bicubic is your friend :)

Another question. I read the aspect ratio explanation in the DVD2SVCD Official Q&A (q62) and i still don't know how to get an 512-384 res DivX file (4/3 fullscreen) to a CVD resolution without losing half the picture due to my TV sets overscan. It is a divx made from a NTSC original source, which i want to convert to pal (which means for CVd a 352-576 25fps file. I know i need to add borders and such, but i'm not so good at calculating and stuff. How would it look like in an AVS script??
