003 newbie questions

Hi everyone I have been a long term customer of digi products, since Pro deck., however i took a break after my last upgrade which was to a mix plus 24 system back in 1998 since i find a system in just about every studio out there., and now i own a small portable M-Audio Ozone running M-Powered Pro Tools just to open sessions. I see there is a promotion for the 003, no upgrade from M-Audio products but i do have a copy of cubase and this ozone keyboard i would not mind to rid of, i have been waiting for ages for a Mackie Universal Pro while debating on a 003., no MCU shipped to Europe where i am recording at the moment and since march when i ordered. So i like to ask some questions to you 003 before i get one from you owners since it has been out for a while now. 1-Will the 003 work with Final Cut Studio at all? 2-Does the 003 work with Logic Pro well? 3-Is it worth it for me to get a 003 as to my m-powered pro tools set up now since i use Logic Pro Mainly and Pro Tools only for vocal edits and some mixing? can anyone list what functions do or not with Logic Pro and Final Cut? I run a iMac and MBP both C2Duo intel.

I've had horrible experiences with Logic and Digi 003 (crashing on startup for instance). I don't know about Final Cut, but I wouldn't buy the 003 for use with anything but Digidesign software. If I were you I'd stay with M-Powered and try to hunt down a MCU elsewhere.

Oops, exactly what i did not hope. but some people say the rack 002 or 003 works fine with logic no?
