OGM speedup when switching audio tracks

I have muxed SBC divx with 2 OGG audio streams and one subtitle stream. The problem is, whenever I switch to the secondary audio stream, the video/audio playback speed doubles, with the result of everyone moving around really fast and speaking in squeaky, strangely unnerving voices. The sub works fine, and I can switch back to the primary stream and it runs at regular speed. I am using WMP 6.4 for playback, and have used both ffdshow and the standard 3.11 filter. any solutions? actually, i dont downsample the audio. At least, if I did, I didnt mean to..hehe. but that looks like it was the problem. edit: for some reason, when playing multi-stream OGMs (with subtitle and/or extra audio tracks) the Morgan Stream Switcher and (if with subs) the DVobsub filters are both running. What's the deal with this, and is there a fix? I have a nagging feeling that they're causing the stability problems I've been having with playback (not related to the sample rate which, after checking again, was the problem.) btw i feel stupid for not checking that, despite the fact that I was SURE that I encoded the audio streams properly.

any possibility that you have elecard's odio decoder installed? that used to make any downsampled mp3 avis i had play funny ...

can't hurt to try right? you could always check what filters are being used by right clicking WiMP or if you're using zoomplayer, got to filters. i hope this solves your problems. ;)
