Help with Recording in Reaper

Hello, I just downloaded this program and keep getting an error message. It says, "Can't write to recording files, does the directory exist?" I'm lost and don't really know what its talking about. Can anyone help me with this issue? I'm fairly new to the whole recording thing, but I think once I take care of this issue, I should be good to go! Thanks. Nate

I dunno, but you could see if your issue is similar to the one resolved below, and check to see that your audio path destination is valid on your machine:

Make sure your disk isnt full..
