240 radiator query

I was only aware of two rads for the 240 either with or without the connections for auto transmission. I've checked on my Italian 244 which has air con and it looks identical. I've checked the GSF site and notice that there is a 2mm difference in height. I wouldn't see this causing a problem at all. So the answer is it should be ok. Mike

Very odd. All the GSF options say + AC, plus some are manual and some auto. There seems to be no system to the two minor height variations listed, they seem to be haphazzardly for 79 on, 2.1 or 2.3. The difference is so small I would have thought accommodated by the springiness in the rubber mounts.

Rad size 

I spoke to a chap at GSF today who was both helpful and seemed to confident that the rad would fit. I just panicked when I saw the AC sensor - the web offerred with or without AC so I assumed they were different. I'll try fitting it tomorrow and I'll let you know the outcome. Rad seems good quality - Nissens from Denmark. It was also a hundred quid cheaper than from Volvo which sort of swung it! Thanks again for the replies. NP
