Hi, I got the recommendation to use aux/send/recieve to add some reverb to my tracks. I have a hunch what it's about from my analogue days but cannot find any clues on ow to use this in Reaper, it's not in the user guide and I stand rather clueless. Any idiot's guide on how this works and ow it's apllied. Effectwise what is difference in using aux/send/recieve rather then just applying the effect from the fx button, Thanks !

Hi Janne, its easy: The Return-Bus in Reaper is just any track. So Create new Track, click FX to insert a reverb plugin and name it "reverb". In the track you want to have a send: Just click the IO-Button. A dialog will pop up... there you find: Add new send. Do so... You will be faced with a list of all tracks. Just choose the "reverb" you just created. Thats it. If you need more sends: just create them this way. Remember to set your FX in the reverb-bus to 0% dry and 100% wet. Cheers and have fun.

The only reverb in Reaper is Reaverb - is this suitable for to use as the general room reverb (for acoustic instruments + vox) on the aux bus? What would then be a good start-off config of it with Impulse and all? 0 and 100 % for dry/wet what does that correspond to on the -150 to +24 scale?
