Hey, I have AnyDVD HD and I would like to know if I should buy a Blu-ray burner. If I do, can I rip a Blu-ray movie with AnyDVD as an .iso file and then burn it on a blu-ray blank disk with Nero (I have and expansion pack that enables Blu-ray and HD-DVD support)? :thanks: Megagab99

You should be asking yourself if you should buy a Blu Ray burner..... If you can justify the price of the burner, and also the price of the media then sure go for it!!! Without trying to sound condecending.... it would be a pretty useless Blu Ray burner if you could not burn a BD ISO to a blank BD disc.

I have the Sony Burner that can burn the 50gb or the 25gb discs. But I too wonder why? The COST of a 50gb disc is about the SAME cost as just buying the movie in the first place. Unless you buy the Blu-ray 50gb blanks in bulk. They are still about $30 a piece. Currently I can buy non-pirated original copy blu-rays for $20 to $25 through discount movie stores I actually haven't burned a Blu-ray disc now in over 6 months. Kind of pointless when I have a TiVo/Xbox 360/Popcorn hour/Blu-ray player that can all read HD files I create and store on my 18TB NAS. :) WTC
