how can i acheive this drum sound?

i'm trying to figure out the effects on the drums on boom boom satellites song push eject. it has a stuttering effect then it seems to slow down. i have effectrix but i can;t seem to do it. help anyone?

can you link the song? you may be able to snag the sample off the stereo track if there is an open part... now sure how that works with copyrights though. But if you let us hear it we might be able to hear what needs to happen.

I checked out that tune, sounds like a retrigger really. I found this effect recently. (and its free) called "Glitch" - allows you to sequence retriggering, and some other neat effects. Might work best on the entire drum track (or a sampled beat) but would work on the kick alone i'm sure. Try it out.

you can just loop a drum hit. You can use ReaSamplomatic for that. Why not just point and click right into the piano roll, just use 1/64 or 1/128? Its all the same difference.
