Powerful marker/regions idea (maybe easy to do too)

Nice idea, MBN. Not sure if I ever saw this originally. I can move markers with an item, and it is relatively straightforward to assign a region to the start and end of an item and make it track. We could store the item-region association and longer titles in item notes (although I'm not sure if I can access that through script). I can do markers to a time position or beat position on items already. -is that nearly there? I have a secret requirement for a notes field in markers and regions -and I'd like script access to the marker/region manager and the ability to delete markers via script -I could use these to great effect with your idea.
