I'm one of the many who are trying to get the reaper / podfarm workaround going. Per some threads on the Line 6 forum, I'm trying to load EffectChainer in as a VST host in Reaper so that I can then load PodFarm into EffectChainer. To date I have not been able to get EffectChainer to show up as a plugin. I have tried moving it into the effectchainer.dll into the Reaper plugin directory and have also tried adding a new file path for the dll (and then rescanning the folders). After doing this, however, the plugin doesn't show up. I'm on the 64 bit versions of Vista and Reaper. Am I doing something wrong, or is there an incompatibility here that prevents this from working. Anyone else had any luck? All help is appreciated. Thanks

I took a look at Acon's website but there is no mention if their chainer will work in a 64 bit host. That might be the problem. D PS Apparently, the POD Farm plug is buggy in DAW's with 64 bit audio processing and the workaround is Chainer. Maybe try the 32 bit Reaper and see if Effect Chainer shows up?

I use podfarm within the Acon effectchainer.. the audio processing works, but sync to host or automation won't work

I've just started using ReaperX64 V2.54 with my new Quad Core machine and naturally WinXP64 Nlited with Dux's optimisation. It works great. I use Reaper 2.54 under Wow32 to host all my 32bit plugs. It's Rearouted to ReaperX64. You achieve this by enabling the 64bit Rearoute ASIO driver in ReaperX64, starting this instance of Reaper first, before starting Reaper32bit. Then you can select the Rearoute ASIO driver as the hardware output device in Reaper32. It's just important to remember that reaperX64 must be initailised first for this to work, otherwise Reaper32 will not see the Rearoute driver on startup. Hope this helps. *I*
