Damn!!! That going to be around $900 CDN. That half as much as my G4 is worth now. I'm going to have it in a really good road case (boxercase.com). Thats will have to do.

hello, i've a mobile 24 track PT le studio myself. it's a good way of earning lots of money ! i have a SKB flightcase with the marathon racks. in the flightcase i have also the digi breakout box, a A13 analog/digital converter (8channels) and a unitor8 midi patchbay. mostly i hook my 16 I/O into a console or i bring my small yamaha 01V mixer with me. i have a 3rd flightcase with 19 " outboard gear, like compressores, HP amp, reverbs, gates drumodules and synths and a sampler. i have a box with cables etc. and a box with my mics. this looks like a lot but it all can fit in my middle class car. (peugot 206). i have 12 mic stands that fit in the back of the car. in a rehearsel room i can set my studio within 15 minutes ! with a live gig maybe 10 minutes. (only connecting cables). i do freelance work in 4 different studio's and i always bring my own gear. for me it's a perfect way of working. i ask 100 dollar for 1 session plus expenses and i made profit within 2 years. sometimes a studio want to hire my stuff for some weeks for a project. so, it's a lot of money you'll spend but i think it'll pay back. greetings, tantejo

I've been running Digi001 with an ADAT XT-20 for the optical in. Mac G4 466/512mb with 30 and 40 Gig ATA drives. Haven't been able to get my G4 rackmounted yet, but working on that. I'm using a Mackie 24/8 for I/O, a Focusrite Compounder, and an old Carvin graphic EQ for outboard. I use a ton of plug-ins, though. The small setup works really good for me, I've been recording bands wherever they want to do it, and doing some live albums as well. Going mobile was a great step!
