For some reason I cannot figure out how to get reverb ONTO a track. I watched 2 videos and my Reaper Evaluation Version isn't looking the same. When I go through the steps I "add" the ReaVeb and get to the part where you click on the other "add" button within that menu and then click on "File" as it shows in the video, a blank window comes up with no reverb options? What am I doing wrong ? Thanks so much !

ReaVerbate is probably an easier one for getting started with - throw it on a track and use the Preset menu at the top of the window, then fiddle with the settings for a bit.
"A blank window comes up" It *sounds* like you're trying to use a convolution reverb VST, IE one that applies pre-recorded echo waveforms to your recorded signal. In which case you need a folder of pre-recorded echo waveforms. If not, you shouldn't be having a problem applying Reaverberate presets. Need more info, really.
Like the other folk, I'd suggest if you're new to this game, start with reaverbate, it's easier. But if you want to play around with ReaVerb and convolution reverb, there's a handy introduction in section 16.10 of the free PDF User Guide.
