Centrino, P4 or Athlon 64 bit???

Hi there folks. I am having a slight dilemma on which processor to go for in terms of a mobile protools rig. I have just taken back an Acer Centrino which had a catastrophic hard disk failure after 1 month, so I am back on the market for a new one. I was disappointed with the performance of the 1.7ghz processor so I am tempted to go for a P4 and settle for the reduced juice time, but I have also seen the Amilo A1630 which has a AMD 64 3700+ and a dedicated 128 ATI Radeon 9700 card which looks like it could be a good work horse! If anyone has got any recommendations I am all ears! Merry Christmas Stevie C

It won't come close to the current desktop system I have posted but it will be portable. You can get Flagyl in Mexico pretty cheap. Allen
