There are a few refurbished Quicksilver Macs, with 1 year warranty available at PowerMax: Factory Refurbished PowerMac G4/933 256 MB of RAM, 60 GB internal drive, internal SuperDrive $1599.00 Factory Refurbished PowerMac Dual G4/800 256 MB of RAM, 80 GB internal drive, internal DVD-R $1788.00 Factory Refurbished PowerMac Dual G4/1GHZ 512 MB of RAM, 80 GB internal drive, internal SuperDrive $2099.00 The models with the Superdrive seem appealling, but still a bit expensive, compared to the new "mirror door" Macs and the fact that a new crop of Macs is just around the corner. Dual 800 (from choices above) Only 2 hundred more than the 933, and is DP, plus has a superdrive.

Slim Why are you selling a 1.25 Dual processor machine? Is it trouble?

yeah, with all the issues with the motherboard/001 incompatibilities, the audio line outs noise garble and the general loudness of the machine, I've found it to be totally impractical for studio use. not to mention that it uses very expensive RAM, and mine also had a problem with the power supply, which was replaced under warranty. Luckily I got a good deal on mine, and won't be losing any money in the process of re-selling it, and I would prefer to keep it, because it is WICKED fast, but I need to run protools, so I'm going with the QS.
