playing toast and itunes through digi 001?

i recently had to reinstall my OS (9) and reinstall Pro Tools (5.1) because of a cpu problem...since then i haven't been able to play Roxio Toast or itunes through the 001. it only comes out through the crappy tower speaker... any remedies?

Make sure the Digidesign Control Panel is enabled and you should be able to choose your Digi001 for sound output in the Sounds and Audio Devices Control Panel.

i selected it from the sound option in the control panel and when i try to play through toast i get a "Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS error". How do I know if the Digidesign Control Panel is enabled?
