Please vote here: Implement AtAAK! functionality into Reaper for Vocalign/Melodyne-like audio alignment tasks. AtAAK! automatically aligns audio via time stretch to a reference track. Please take a look at this and listen to the examples: This would be an incredible timesaver for tightening up backing vocals and all kinds of doubles. Perfect for ADR. If you think about what vocalign and the versions of melodyne that can do this cost, having this in Reaper would be HUGE. Please vote here:
Yes! I'm doing this manually now in Sonar's v-vocal, and this would be a final straw for me to make the switch to reaper. In general I think having a competitive feature set is a must to make reaper attractive compared to other DAWs. Intuitive graphical pitch correction, timing/phrase tweaking, etc strike me more as a feature set of a DAW, more than being a plugin that adds functionality.

Hazysonic, I don't know if this is similar to what you are doing with V-Vocal, but this might be of interest to you. "Found a very fast way to tighten up timing of vocals/instruments"

The other option would be to use "ARA Integration" to integrate Melodyne directly into Reaper, as per Tracktion 5 or Presonus Studio One. That way if you had any version of Melodyne, from the cheaper mono to the more expensive poly versions, you could use them, and if you didnt own it then it just wouldnt be enabled.
Imagine being able to do this inside Reaper. This isnt some obscure midi feature used by a couple of people this is used in thousands of records. And Synchrosoft (the makers of vocalign/revoice pro) have a monopoly over all of this (as they have no competition right now in this field)
