My New G4 will not start with my SCSI card and Pro Tools card installed. The computer won't even get to the start up screen. Has anybody ever had this problem? Please help G4 1.25Ghz Proc. 756 ram ATTO SCSI card

If you haven't already done this, take the card back out and reseat it. Make sure you get it in all the way. You could also try it in a different slot. If you have a drive hooked up to the card. Un-hook it and try booting without the drive hooked up.

It sounds like you had the cards installed in an older machine before installing them in your new Mac. It's probably the SCSI card. If you still have the older mac model around that the SCSI card worked with, I would just install the SCSI card back into that machine and update the ATTO firmware version. Once installed back in your older mac, use the ATTO Express PCI utility to check the current firmware version, then go to the ATTO web site to see if there is a firmware update available for download. You did not specify which ATTO card you have, but I am using the ATTO PSC (single channel) card and it's firmware is at 1.6.6u, and it works fine with my Quicksilver 2002 model. Hope this helps.
