Hahaha CS33 troubles

I've been trying to get this "Hahaha CS33 v.1.0" VST to work with reaper. I added the .dll file to the fx folder, and I try recording guitar with it and have no luck. However when I add the effect to a MIDI drum track, it's fully compatible. How can I resolve this so I can record guitar with Hahaha? All feedback gladly appreciated.

Isn't this haha thing a synth? What do you mean by recording a guitar with it?
