Hey, you could use my pngs that replace the default ones. You'll have to unzip the theme. (There's plenty of info on how to do that I won't bother going through it here.) Then replace the files with those I've attached here. Done.
it didnt' work mate. I replaced your files with the default but it stay the same I want only the area around the tcp number to be colored without the big area. can you do that?
If little image editing is not out of question, you can do following: Open the two images Stroudy has above in graphic editor of your choice. In both images, you'll have to select and edit the partly transparent section on the left, making those totally opaque (non transparent). Save the edited images and copy them into your theme. IOW, you can control the tinting of the panel by how transparent you make the parts of it.

since no one answered, i just opened the file in photoshop and understood what's going on by edting it a little. i probably did it at the same time you were writing the replay haha thanks for the replay mate (xpander).
