can I have a click or metronomo from other device not conected via midi?

I bought a mac G4 and then I instaled a digi oo1 in there i was using a internal sound reproducer instaled in my mac from factory for to make a click or metronomo but i had a problem with my hard drive and I had to change for a brand new hard drive but this one doesn't had the internal sound reproducer and now I can't have click and i use the digioo1 for live event and i cant keep conected any keyboard in it via midi do you know what can I do?

You can send a click sound in as an analog device ..... but it won't line up to the metronome / grid, so you'll lose the ability to edit to the grid. I wouldn't recommend it. Tony

One way to make a click that doesen't use midi would be to record a click, and then, zoom way in and select one click, and then duplicate the selection, so it is a separate region. then, set the grid to 1/4 notes, and paste the sample to the grid. Copy and paste.. and there you have it.. a midiless click to grid. ~Eric
