renting plugins

hello on waves website i've seen a "rent"option for either 1 week or a month regards law, how does it work..i use them only during the week am recording/mixing or something? sounds a bit weird please let me know thanks, and if any other companies rent their plugins as well

Honestly, there are many good value plugins out there that you can buy and own forever. Many could be sold after you have finished with them too. What type of plugins were you interested in? I was it really just about the waves renting thing?

Seems like this would be handy if you we sharing work with someone else and needed one of there plugins for a little while. But I would hate to rent my software.

I know what your saying but it isnt' 'quite' like that. After all, you can sell most of your plugins after. But your right, we only get a license to use someone plugins. lol
