Hello, I have a quick question to ask, probably a silly one but you never know....... :) I put the wood effect panels in my 1999 V70 and found that there what are probably the wires and the connectors for the heated seats sitting beside the gear lever. Now what I am wondering is, is it a simple case of replacing the coin holder surround with one that has the heated seat switches installed, plug the switches into the wires and away you go.........?? Or am I too niave and there is a lot more involved than that? Thanks SF

A tad nieve. The loom will be standard throughout the range and dependant on model, certain plugs will be unused. In your case you will have to have the elements in the seats, which I doubt you have, so installing the switches will not heat up your seats I'm afraid. I really fancy a heated steering wheel 'cos my hands are like blocks of ice by the time I'm a mile down the road.

I would be surprised if the seats were electric and didn't have heating elements in them, although it probably was technically possible. As asked above, are they the original seats? If there are elements in them there will be connector plugs under the seat for them. Sarge '99 V70 AWD:Dancing_chief:

Yep they are the original seat in the vehicle! I also found a connector under the rear seats which I am guessing could potentially be for heated rear seats!....??
