I whipped up a little (20k) alternate utility for you to use free of license restrictions. The first time you run it, it will hide the taskbar and add a key for itself to your registry so it is re-run upon every reboot. It also has additional, optional commandline parameters. Read the included README for details.

P.S. - If you need to use the taskbar after this has run, you can press the Windows key (or Control+Escape) to access the Start Menu. Cheers.
